Bedwetting

Bedwetting, or nocturnal enuresis, is a common problem affecting millions of people in the US and throughout the world. It occurs in both children and adults, and can be very embarrassing and stressful for them.

A different view of bedwetting in TCM
Many medical, emotional and family factors are found contributing to bedwetting. There are some theories for bedwetting such as deep-sleeping disorder, small bladder, weak bladder sphincter muscle and stress. However, the exact cause of bedwetting is still unknown. Because of our limited understanding about bedwetting, the treatment of this condition is quite limited and ineffective.

For centuries, bedwetting is regarded as a curable disease in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). This is based on a different point view of the disease and the successful use of herbal formulas. In TCM, bedwetting is related to the abnormal conditions of internal organs (usually the kidney, lung and/or spleen) contributing to the control of urination. For example, the weakness of kidney qi in children or adults is one of the major factors causing bedwetting. Herbs or acupuncture treatment that tonify kidney qi in these patients can be used to cure the disease. This kind of concept has been repeatedly tested for thousands of years, resulting in many effective herbal formulas and food recipes.

Fight bedwetting actively
Dr. Jin has spent a lot of time doing research and developing herbal formulas specifically for bedwetting in young children and in the adults. The result of his hard work is some powerful massage techniques and herbal formulas for effective treatment of bedwetting. All formulas consist of Chinese herbs and are carefully selected for maximum effect to solve you or your child's problem naturally and permanently. While formulas help to promote the qi of the spleen and kidney, and regulate the lung qi to strength the control of urination. Since strong internal qi also promotes normal development and function, you may notice “side-effects” such as better sleep at night, good spirit, and improved performance in the school in your children.
